We are motor cycle paintworks who are two local paint and panel specialists that have been in the motortrade repairing and restoring vehicles for over thirty years, we have recently turned our hands to motorcycles and scooters for custom work and specialising in scooters.
Our exseriance in the trade has allowed us to produce some real quality and proffesional paint work.
We only repair and paint on "bare" metal to insure the quality of finish and so that no previous repairs intifear with the quality of our work. This is why we send everything that can be beadblasted to our conttractor who use fine grade bead and shot so not to distort your metal work. doing this can throw up some nasty suprises as in previous filler work and paint, this is why we always repair, prime and paint on bare metal.
The Paint We Use
The products that we use coinside with the lateest technoligies and we can match any original colour that your scooter was origanly painted in, if we are restoring your scoot then we can change the colour completly to any colour you want, we have colour swatches for every make and model of vehicle so take your pick.
recieving your panels back from the the beadblaster we evaluate the amount of panel beating that needs doing so we keep filler to a minimum, any rust holes get welded, not filled.
After repaires have been carried out we apply a two part etch primer, (this is a rust inhibater) then we apply a two part high build primer to seal of all repaires and bare metal,
after the primer has been cured in our low bake oven your panels get prepared to recieve the colour of your choice, if you want us to use two pack urithane paint we will, or if you want us to use the lateset water based paints we will, basicly we will use what ever you want us to use on your scoot.
if we are spraying metalic, pearl or custom candys we apply top quality two part laquers to achive a deep glossy shine.
